Hi everybody, I don't know where time goes, but it's sure been disappearing at a rapid rate! I've been all over the place this past month... Manitoba for a Regional Convention and then to Missouri two weeks later for an International Convention. It's been keeping me busy, that's for sure!
School's over now, and it was with a bittersweet sadness that I cleaned my classroom and tried to prepare things for another teacher. We had a good year. Almost makes me wish I was gonna be here for another one ...but I know it's time to move on to other things.

In other news... the count down is on - 22 days until Christmas vacation! It's not that school has been that bad, I think we're all just ready for a break.
We have a Single Mom's Retreat here this weekend. Sounds like we could have quite a crowd on our hands - possibly as many as 20 moms w/ at least that many children. It'll be busy, but I love it.
"Trust Him when dark days asail thee, trust Him when thy faith is small. Trust Him when - to simply trust HIM is the hardest thing of all." I recently found this quote that I'd pulled off a church bulletin a few years ago. I find myself at this place once more...why is it so hard to simply trust, when you know that God's working out His perfect plan, but you can't see what lies beyond the next few months?

Howdy y'all! Thought maybe it's about time for a real update on this thing. Life has been busy, but a lot of it feels like routine and nothing to write about.
School keeps a lot of my time occupied. I'm enjoying it more all the time. It definitely keeps my life far from boring! Today, I had two boys in my classroom literally jumping up and down in their excitement over some falling white stuff. It didn't accumulate though, much to everyone's dismay. I breathed a slight sigh of relief because I don't have to drive on snow yet, but I was sort of disappointed too. The weather's cold, the landscape is sort of brown and boring...it's time for some wintertime beauty!
